Neptune Notebook · Practical business guide
Choose the audience before the channel
Describe the people you want to reach and the problem you solve for them. Start with channels you can maintain and where your customers already engage. You do not need a presence everywhere to communicate well.
Build three content themes
Choose themes that connect your offer to customer needs. For example: useful advice, a closer look at your services, and answers to common questions. Repeating themes creates structure without repeating the same post.
Use a realistic calendar
Plan around the content and time you actually have. Assign a topic, format, owner and approval date to each post. Leave space for customer questions and relevant updates. A sustainable schedule is more useful than an ambitious one that stops after a week.
Make the next step clear
Tell readers what to do when a post interests them. It might be reading a service page, asking a question or requesting a quote. Keep the destination consistent with the message in the post.
Review useful signals
Look at enquiries, relevant conversations and visits to important pages alongside reach and engagement. Record what you changed and what happened. Treat early results as information to improve the next plan, not a promise of future sales.
